On the 21st of November, myself and a couple of mates headed off to Paris. the whole reason we went to Paris was for the Christian Dior exhibition that’s on display in Musée des Arts décoratifis.
unfortunately, the exhibition is only on display until the 7th of January so if you can get yourself over to Paris I highly recommend going. the exhibition is amazing, its amazing value for money the tickets are thirteen euros and every room is jam-packed.
To say Dior was a genius is an understatement all of his works are mindblowing to see especially with the detail in all the craftsmanship. the exhibition starts off with diors life and then moves onto works created by Dior himself. it shows works created by John Galliano which is great to see seeing as he caused so much controversy for Dior. there is a room dedicated solo to Dior fragrances after leaving the room you exit out the foyer which you cross to enter another massive room it was almost like it was never-ending. you then work your way through rooms filled with more garments, photographs and notebooks. you then enter a room of twoiles that also has two for diors current atelier in giving demonstrations. finally, the last room you enter if filled right to the ceiling with breathtaking
ball gowns and amazing lighting displays.
